Stormy Chalmers is a native Floridian. She wrote My Beautiful Alone, a collection of heartfelt poems, while in high school, as part of a successful fund-raising project.
This book is truly inspirational. Its poems, although tragic in some ways, have touched the hearts of young and old alike.
The heartfelt poems are an accumulation of writings completed over a span of about two years. Stormy’s initial purpose for writing the book was to help raise money for tuition in the People to People Student Ambassador program.
Only 15 when the book was published, she promoted her book locally by speaking at the meetings of a multitude of local clubs, including the Rotary Club, Lions Club, local Civic Association, local Art League and the Chamber of Commerce. Many attendees at these meetings purchased at least one copy, and the feedback has been wonderful.
She now lives in Europe with her husband and two children.
